I'm not sure why this guesthouse receives such good reviews Pros: good location right in the centre of old Kotor and friendly reception. Cons: The tiniest of double rooms. No daylight (tiny windows facing onto someone else's wall). No ventilation. Small bathroom which reeked of drains but no extractor fan or windows to help. Nowhere to hang up damp towels. Hair dryer plugs into open socket in bathroom. Room not made up despite hanging the 'make up room notice' on the door. Finally got clean towels on the last day. As we were staying there for 4 days, we might have expected a better room. Finally, the steps up to the room, which was on the 2nd floor, were steep and it was difficult carrying a heavy suitcase up. However, it is a very old building so tricky access is to be expected.

Staying in the Antika Guesthouse within the ancient walled city was amazing. You feel like you are part of the local community, in the middle of everything.
Daria at check in was extremely helpful, recommending places to eat, things to do and the best coffee in the Balkans.
The room was large and spotless, with everything you could need. A huge, very comfortable bed, fridge, bathroom, TV, kettle, tea/coffee.
I had a wonderful time and was genuinely sad to leave.

Nice room attentive staff and right in the middle of the old city. Only issue might be that the hostel is next door so there is a bubble of conversations until later in the evening, but we didn’t mind.

Super romantic - within the walls of the old city and up a small staircase. Very easy access to the gate to go up to the castle and within just a few minutes walk to the city gates. Quiet. Gorgeous. Great service!

Номер большой , персонал приятный, но есть проблемы, в ванной постоянно шум от бойлера, который слышно в комнате.
Также номер который выходит на улицу очень шумный из за того, что рядом рестораны. До 12 ночи вы точно не уснете.

Excellent location for my stay. Helpful front desk for bag storage on both arrival and departure. Highly recommend.

Room in Heart of Kotor
We stayed in the upper room. It was OK. Room was a good size but dated. Bathroom could have been cleaner. There are only sheers over the windows, so bring an eye mask. When the sun rises, so do you.

This gets a 10/10! Not only is the location perfect but the room was absolutely adorable. We loved that we had a fridge and a kettle in our room. Our bathroom was spacious and appreciate the care you put into having flowers, chocolates and champagne in our room from my husband! The best was daily visits from Slavitah! It was "home away from home"!
