such a bad experience with this hotel. they called the police on us because we are not Chinese Nationals, even though it has a plaque on the wall saying it's certified to house foreigners. checking in was therefore a long and ridiculous process. the front desk worker seemed shocked we were there, despite our having booked well in advance. they were not friendly or helpful or knowledgeable. we speak Chinese quite well so it was not an issue of translation. furthermore, they informed ctrip that we DIDN'T check in, and tried to bill us twice for the room! please, do yourself and favour and do not stay here.
