  • Guest：Reception sullen & unwelcoming (male). Females very nice. Rubbish skip & building materials in the way. Mediocre outdoor amenity. Room very good & good value. Parking too tight but free.
  • Guest：Lovely stay at this hotel! Loved the location, super close to the beach and all the beautiful scenery of Newport. Had a lovely view from my room balcony and it was clean and comfortable. I stayed when renovations were happening so that’s the only reason I haven’t given full stars as you could see the building work taking place and there was a bit of building work noise going on. Other than that it was an amazing stay and would stay again :)

  • Guest：The hotel is undergoing a well overdue renovation and our room was mostly finished. There was one area that was roughly boarded off. No problems with that. But unfortunately the craftsmanship of the persons responsible for the work left a lot to be desired. There is little point in renovating if you don't do it properly. Such a shame as the property has so much potential. Other than that our stay was pleasant enough with a large room, comfortable bed and courteous staff.
