Ok so probably of all the reviews I have ever written, and there have been many, this is probably the most difficult as I know what I say will be difficult for Terri and David to take. The owners are really nice, good people who love nothing more than to chat and swap stories. They are welcoming and friendly and from the reviews you will read on TripAdvisor and in the comment books in their rooms appear to run an exceptional property. Unfortunately this is where our experience differs from those reviews. We were in room 3 - a large room with windows giving great views over the surrounding countryside and superb sunsets which it would have been great to take in except that all that was available were 2 old plastic chairs stuck outside the room with no shade which were not appealing at all - such a waste. The room itself was basic and had little character. Be aware that housekeeping is not done, or at least wasn't during our 3 nights and although at 1 point I asked for the bins (which are exceptionally small) to be emptied all the used tea bags in the bowl provided were left as were the dirty dishes. I realise that some establishments do state that they do little or no housekeeping but when on holiday and paying a very decent rate for accommodation I do expect some form of this to be done. The owners, as they took great justifiable pleasure in telling us, grow much of their own vegetables and fruit which we thought might be reflected in the breakfast provided but again unfortunately not - fruit were 3 small slices in yoghurt in the bottom of a small ramekin hardly enough to last more than 2 small spoonfuls. Breakfast is regarded by the reviewers as a superb meal but we found it was fairly sparse and certainly not up to standards within other 'sensational' establishments. A final issue as I don't really want to labour this review was the open area outside our room which from the website pictures looks superb but in reality is a collection of mismatched furniture in poor state of repair and not appealing to use. So why the great reviews and then this one ? Can't answer that I have no axe to grind not related to any other local properties just felt that we chose this due to reviews and pictures and felt so disappointed when the reality did not reflect the portrayed image. Again sorry Terri & David you are great but seriously your place could be so so much better.

This place ticked all the boxes and then some. Delicious and creative full cooked breakfasts. And with a smile. Nothing was too difficult- again, with a smile. The location is perfect if a peaceful getaway is what you’re looking for, yet not too far away from all you y wish to experience in Denmark.

Das Sensational Heights B&B war für zwei N?chte unsere Unterkunft. Es liegt ca. 30 Minuten Fahrzeit au?erhalb von Denmark. Für uns war dies aber kein Problem, da wir den abendlichen Restaurantbesuch in die Tagesplanung eingearbeitet haben. Die Gastgeben sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, das Frühstück ist qualitativ extrem gut. Es gibt jeden Morgen ein warmes Gericht, das durchaus raffiniert ist und vom üblichen Standard in B&Bs abweicht. Daneben gibt es vom Buffet Toast und Müsli. Die Zimmer haben gro?e Fenster, so dass man morgens die K?ngurus auf der Wiese beobachten kann.

We were surprised that we had never found this place before. We have traveled a lot in Australia and experienced many BnB's. This is clearly the best ever. Welcomed by Terri and David who are salt of the earth country farm folk. Lovely to chat with and very welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped with large comfy beds and all you could wish for. Fantastic views over the Karri forrest. The breakfasts were amazing - food you would only find in flash restaurants. Will we be coming back? - you bet we will

From the moment we arrived and took in the view from this serene and scenic location we loved it. The room was spacious, very clean, beautifully presented and all very comfortable. Terri and Dave were so welcoming and we enjoyed the many conversations we had with them. We looked forward to our delicious breakfast prepared by both of them. Dave showed his culinary skills presenting us with a different breakfast each day topped with a variety of the tastiest homemade sauces you will ever have. We will return for sure to explore more of Beautiful Denmark but especially to this exceptional B & B and with it's lovely hosts. Thank-you Terri and Dave. Sensational by Name Sensational by Nature.

Our first B&B experience and it definitely won’t be our last. This place is amazing! Terri and David are sooo lovely….and OMG, the breakfast!! I was excited to see what David had created each morning. Even the cute lil fruit and yoghurt starter that Terri would put together. Their attention to detail is next level. They even leave a bottle of tawny port and cup of mentos in your room. It’s the little things that really made our experience top notch!! The room was large and it was so nice to sit outside each morning and enjoy a coffee while taking in the beautiful peaceful environment. We’ll be back! :-)

This lovely couple go above and beyond! The views, rooms, the company, the cleanliness, service and the food is hands down the best we have had ! The zucchini breakfast is one I personally won’t forget. If you want a relaxing off the grid country retreat with down to earth people.. don’t look any further !! Thank you so much for having us ＜3

Absolutely fantastic setting, nice and quiet but not far from lots of local attractions. Rooms were great and so was breakfast, Dave and Teri were amazing hosts and super helpful. Would definitely recommend to travellers who want to relax. will visit again if we are that way

What an amazing property! Stunning views across the valley and the hosts David and Terry made us feel so very welcome. We were treated to a very tasty breakfast each morning with most of the produce being home grown on their farm. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful get away then this is definitely the place to stay.
