Relaxing overnight stay We had been on the road for 8 hrs that day, and 8 the previous one; so a welcoming friendly smile was lovely. The room was extremely clean & well presented, the bed was super comfy and the shower was hot!! The Town House’s location was great as we walked along the river to get some exercise, before grabbing a take away pizza close by. There were several cafes, restaurants & pubs all within a 10min walk, so food options were plentiful. There’s also an on-site restaurant, however we shared something lighter as had had a late lunch on the road. Highly recommend this motel and will certainly stay when heading past again.

Our family room was spacious and had everything we needed for 4 people. Kids loved the bunk beds. A bit dated but all room amenities were fine, included a microwave and small dining table. Unfortunately the photos online are a bit outdated. There is no longer a restaurant, which we noticed at check in (weren't told prior) and the pool was dirty so we didn't swim. The outside of the property needs a bit of love and tidying up. Location is great. For the affordable price we paid, we would probably stay again but the advertising is a bit deceiving.

While this motel is a place to lay your head and it is generally clean in the room. It desperately needs refurbishing. Starting with the entrance. Two steps up larger than the normal. No rail for those who may need to feel steady and safe. Inside it was very dated. The bathroom looked like something out of the 60's. The shower was a step up and over. The shower head could do with changing.water pressure was poor and the hot water kept going hot to cold. The air conditioner was old and poor working condition. Placed above the door with the wall of the bathroom blocking direct flow and the poor working order of the unit was no benefit at all. There was also lights or should i say driving lights along the building which lit up the room and was eventuallu turn off after probably four a.m. The rest well just adequate. I can usually see positive in most things but im sorry its time for an update.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to centre of town and walking distance to hotels and restaurants. Comfortable bed and clean amenities.

The unit was older style but very clean, tidy and quiet despite being on a main road. Air conditioning and hot water were in good functioning order. The king size bed was lovely and different from other hotels. Fridge, microwave and free tea and coffee were satisfactory to our overnight needs.My only quibble is the erratic wifi which I understand is complimentary but we couldn’t use it for very long as it would drop out. We did not use the dining facilities or the mini bar during this stay.
