Walk to rail/tram easy. Cafes, barbar and IGA near rail 8min walk from this accommodation property.

The room was very clean and very well appointed with a microwave and fridge. The bed was very comfortable and despite being on a main road, there was very little noise ensuring I had undisturbed nights’ sleep. The reception staff were very welcoming too.

The room was upstairs and accessible only from an outdoor set of stairs, which was perfectly fine, but the ledge of the walkway to the room was starting to deteriorate, which was worrying.
The room inside was nicely kept clean and with plenty of amenities in the room. The room itself does need some updating, though, as many features were outdated, including the very loud ventilation, air dryer, and heating unit (all in the bathroom). The furniture in the main room were all still in good standing and the stay was actually rather comfortable.
For a single night's stay, this place did work out wonderfully well.

Excellent staff. Alot of outside light at night that comes into rooms but for what you pay I can live with that.

Staff were very friendly and approachable and ready to help, but it was the location which was excellent for this iconic inn and motel. Close to Essendon train and tram services. For a weekend to see the AO it was very handy. The rooms were clean and tidy, had everything and the beds were comfortable.

The front desk staff were very friendly and professional.
The location is excellent, with Tram Route 59 right outside providing direct access to the city, and the train station is only a seven-minute walk away, which is extremely convenient.
Although the facilities are a bit dated, this did not affect us much as independent travelers who were out most of the day. The room was equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and electric kettle, which was a great bonus.

Staff are friendly, beds comfortable and room is clean. The downside is noise, people will drink and talk outside until late hours.

Love staying here the staff are great especially Kathy so friendly. Nothing is too hard her. Room is always clean and tidy.
