  • Guest：We had the most wonderful stay, a true home away from home. The space was cosy, beautifully presented, and had everything we could possibly need. Beate went above and beyond to make our stay special, from her warm communication to the thoughtful extra touches like dressing gowns, homemade cake, and fresh produce from the garden. It’s clear a lot of care and love goes into hosting here, we felt so welcome and looked after. Highly recommended!

  • Guest：Enjoyed a relaxing stay at Green Gables Garden Studio while visiting a friend in nearby Cygnet. The first thing I noticed entering the property was the beautiful garden. Comfortable, spacious room and bathroom with quality sheets and luxurious towels. Loved the homemade sponge cake on arrival. Thank you Beate for your hospitality and helpful information.
  • Guest：Apart from a comfortable stay at the house in a beautiful garden located in the picturesque Huon Valley just 50 minute drive away from Hobart and 5 minute away from Cygnet (plus a lot to explore around), you will get a very special experience as a quest. Beate and her family made us feel truly welcome and at home. Highly recommend to those looking for peace and quiet and sincere human connection. We stayed in a smaller room out of the two available and it was cosy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is spacious. All the amenities are present apart from cooking but you could request a gas BBQ set to use. Overall, good value for money and you'd want to come back there to say hello to the host :)
