We loved every minute of our stay . Awesome food always plenty of choices absolutely incredible and friendly staff especially Christof, the receptionist, the drivers and short blond lady from the restaurant ??they all made us feel like at home and nothing was a trouble. We will be back for sure

A fab little block of studio/apts, we were offered a larger room on arrival or a smaller one with a view, my daughter chose the view, the room was quite small and compact but extremely clean and had everything we needed, my daughter particularly enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker, the beds were comfy, cleaners were great, there is a roof top terrace with seating which our friends joined us on, for a few drinks after dinner, I asked Andrea if this was ok and was not a problem, Andrea was extremely helpful with anything g you asked of him, even coming to collect us on arrival when we got list ! When getting off the ferry and walking along the prom, if you go over the little wooden bridge you e gone too far ?? location is fab, literally a stones throw from the square and minutes from the beach

The advert here is false. The photos of the rooms here are actually the Apollo I hotel and you will not get what you expect. Rooms are small and cramped The hotel is in Kavros. The town listed is neighbouring. Stayed for 10 days. At the start of the holiday we were shown our rooms, both were directly opposite the bar and next to the stairs. So there was constant noise until late at night and early hours of the morning (music, laughter, people walking up and down the stairs and shouting). there were 3 adults and an 11 year old child in our booking. When mentioning the noise issue and not being able to sleep well. We were not offered to move rooms despite there being plenty available (we were prepared to pay the costs of upgrading rooms). There was also an issue with the all inclusive booking when ordering drinks at the bar. We were told we hadn’t booked all inclusive due to a technicality in the description of the booking. We weren’t then offered to upgrade, they acted confused and continued to ask for our room number to charge drinks. Then stating this issue happens often? Why wouldn’t you find a solution (we were also willing to pay the cost of upgrading to “all inclusive”). Other than breakfast (water and juice at a dispenser) there are no “free” drinks available. Not even water. When I tried to drink water from a bottle I had bought outside of the hotel I was told I wasn’t allowed to (it’s a hot country for gods sake). Note there is also a frequent foul sewage stench when on the patio/balcony and around the pool area outside. The staff seem to act as if this problem doesn’t exist. The shower in the bathroom barely mounts to the wall and is close to falling off. The same playlist is played constantly with no change. The hotel also doesn’t offer much in the way of entertainment, either at the hotel or providing you with info on what activities are in and around the area. Most of what we did we found info on by going into the Kavros shopping *****. Despite this the hotel is clean with housekeepers replacing towels and sheets in rooms daily. The pool is clean and a lot of the time has pool floats and toys available for guests to use with LEDs that come on past 7pm. It’s safe to say I won’t be returning It’s a nice looking place but the staff seem to just do the bare minimum with no problem solving or ability to supply you with solutions even when you are willing to pay.

I've just returned from a week's holiday at the Apollo Hotel with family. Our flight was delayed and so we didn't arrive at the hotel until around 22:30. We had booked half board but because the restaurant closed at 22:00, they did not offer us any food or drink. We were told to walk across the road and purchase a meal there. My mum's room was extremely cramped and after two days, the air conditioning stopped working. When she went to complain, the owners acted as if she was causing trouble and made no attempt to fix it, despite the fact that it was 30 degrees during the day and not much cooler in the evening. She had no choice but to leave the balcony doors open over night in order to sleep and woke up to numerous mosquito bites. I shared a suite with my husband and two children. The children's bed was made up of two single mattresses positioned horizontally which meant that when they slept, their feet hung out at the bottom. (Neither are taller than 5 foot 5). They ended up sleeping side ways across the bed, so wasn't really a major problem, however, there was a safety light in their room which didn't dim all night and shone brightly through to our room too. When we mentioned the light to a member of staff, they stated that they were unsure of why the light didn't dim and initially advised us to put a towel over it, but then thought better of it due to the fire risks. We also had what looked like a pull switch hanging from the shower wall. They told us that the switch was not connected to the mains so we had to trust them. The outside bar area smelt of sewage occasionally. The food was basic but healthy, however, you were lucky if you could find a knife and fork in the evenings and during breakfast, there wasn't enough cups and glasses for all of the guests. Overall, I loved Crete with it's lovely nearby restaurants and beach but wasn't impressed with the hotel. The hotel is far from 4 star in my opinion. The restaurant staff and receptionist was friendly but the owners came across very arrogant and aloof. I won't be staying here again.

Saliento a simpatia, a limpeza e a comida típica. Obrigado

If you want a relaxing break this is ideal. The hotel is typically Greek with lots of fresh food for the all inclusive option. The staff, reception, catering and cleaning could not have been more helpful and pleasant. We would definitely book again

We stayed at Apollo 2 so 50.metres from.main hotel. Very clean. New towels and bed linen everyday. Has its own pool but not with bar do we used Apollo 1 as all Inc. Nice variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner although we did visit other local restaurants just for a change. Pool is beautiful and great for sunbathing as have a variety of comfortable beds etc. All staff are do friendly including the 2 brothers/owners. Marko their friend is a assett as he is so friendly and whilst working bar also played games with us. Is a very quiet resort so not for those looking for excitement or entertainment. For a chilled relaxed haven. This is the place. Offers free beech trf and other trips. Loved this place

So lucky that LoveHolidays found this family run, well-sized hotel for us. We stayed in a maisonette at Apollo 2 about 100 yards from the main hotel where the pool (which we could use 24/7!) was beautiful, quieter and 20 paces from our maisonette. A lot of preparation clearly goes into the delicious food and staff are friendly and attentive. Free, frequent transport to the beach which we often walked anyway (20 mins). Lovely views and really clean.

Nice place with few notable things
Apollo was nice place. Air conditioning was our top priority and it worked perfectly! There was laundry machine at the apartment which was also a big plus. Although it was left wet and closed so it smelled a bit bad in the beginning. Few empty rounds with high temp and it was ok.
Beds were mediocre for big guys like us but I can't say it was bad. Pool area is nice and clean.
Reception is open sometimes during the day but not later than 1800hrs. Apartment had to be also paid by cash only (also deposit) which was quite a challenge for us. Money exchange office almost next door just lifted up their hands that we need to go to a bank - which during weekend was impossible. This was however easily agreed with the reception.
There's few small "supermarkets" very close and of course you can almost see the beach from the Apollo gate.
If you want to rent a car just do it on your own, it seemed a bit overwhelming through the reception. But there's places nearby for that too.
Overall it's within a quiet and safe area, our neighbors were very quiet and all went well.
Just be ready to purchase your own shampoos, laundry tablets, toilet papers etc. as the cleaning service visits quite rarely and there was for example one roll of toilet paper to begin with. Do that and you will have a good time.
All in all it was a nice place to spend 2 weeks.

This hotel isn't all inclusive. You have to pay for coffee and fresh orange, they didn't have any rose wine, even when I asked if they could get me some as I was there for a week, no as the answer, and was told they could mix white and red wine, my answer was also no, also the all inclusive stops at 10pm, never had this before and I've travelled. No tea/coffee making facilties or kettle in the room. The hair drier was something out of the 50's and took ages, the shower on the wall didn't have an adjuster so the water sprayed straight out and couldn't move it at all. The hotel was quiet, had to wait at the bar for someone to come and serve us on numerous occasions, the same play list for the whole week too. There's building work across so expect noise thought out the day while sunbathing. Also noisy neighbours dogs barking. That's the negatives done. The hotel itself was clean and the room was OK. Couldn't fault the food at all, breakfast, lunch and dinner, plenty of choice. This is a very quiet place, so if your young and expecting alot going on, don't come here, there's no entertainment in the bars either. The whole resort had no enterteinment. Also there is no money exchange places, you have to go into thr next village to the bank. It advertises as in Georgioupolis, but it's kavros, Georgioupolis is a €9 taxi ride away.
