This is a lovely, family run hotel in a stunning location. The hotel itself is simple and comfortable with a warm staff team for whom nothing is too much trouble. Steep stone steps take you down to the sea to swim in deep, clear waters. Above the hotel, the lovely town of Castro - home to the original temple of Athena - has a beautiful square, small bars and restaurants. Don't go expecting glitzy chain hotel sophistication but if you want a perfect spot to swim (in the sea or the salt water swimming pool), read under the pines and relax you could not imagine anything nicer. Thank you Alessandra, Gemma, Maria - we will return.

We have just had the most divine 3 nights stay at this beautiful hotel. We travelled as 2 couples (60+)visiting from Australia. We could not believe our luck ! The location was second to none. The swims off the rocks on the private beach were sublime. I felt I was dreaming! The facilities (the pool has to be seen to be believed) are conducive to an incredibly relaxing and comfortable holiday. The staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Alessandra , the owner, was also there to show us around and tell us the fascinating history of the hotel. Breakfast (included in the incredibly reasonable price) was delicious and served in the gorgeous living area overlooking the ocean. We will return, as will the other guests we encountered during our stay. We were a bunch of very happy customers! Thank you so much Alessandra , Gemma and Maria.

4 von 5 Punkte weil die Aussicht wirklich ein Traum ist. Man sieht mehr oder weniger direkt auf die Bucht Zinzulusa. Das Hotel ist kein Bunker, weitl?ufig und sehr gepflegt. Es hat sehr viele Treppen daher sollte man e leichteres Gep?ck dabei haben. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen auch das Bett war nicht besonders bequem. 1 Punkt nur für das Essen. Es ist eine gr?ssere Katastrophe. Das morgen essen lieblos und die Auswahl bescheiden. Das Abend essen ganz schlimm. Nicht zu empfehlen.

4 stelle in posizione splendida a picco sul mare, con discesa di193 gradini. Bella piscina di acqua di mare, con pool bar ottimo per pausa pranzo. Camera ampia, comoda, con piccola veranda vista mare. Servizio eccellente, personale gentile ed efficiente, pulizia bene. Colazione a buffet discreta, un po' pretenzioso il ristorante con menu non troppo vario, ma servizio buono e location eccellente.

This was the perfect hotel The setting is stunning, a great salt water pool, a wonderful buffet breakfast, a beautiful and excellent restaurant, an amazing staff and a perfect location and free parking I want to come back next year Also beautiful rooms

This place instantly puts you at ease. It is everything you imagine an Italian summer to be. The pool is perfectly located giving you the most incredible views of the ocean below (side note, it is alittle too salty). The staff is helpful and friendly and goes out of their way to making your stay enjoyable. But the buildings are outdated and not comfortable. With some new furniture and a coat of paint, this place could be 5 stars!
