Clean, beautiful comfortable rooms. Fantastic shower. Perfect location for easy access and terrific restaurants within easy walking distance.The staff is amazing! The kindest, sweetest, most helpful anyone could ever want. Stay here!

Charming comfortable hotel in a great location. Fabulous staff that went out of there way to help us have a wonderful visit. Bathroom great, room great, downstairs lobby with fireplace and lots of cozy places to sit fabulous. Highly recommend!

Great hotel in great area. Loved the location. Only problem was the elevator broke one day and we wished we had a king bed and the room had girders which impacted the layout. Fantastic breakfast in the restaurant

The hotel and the surrounding areas were great. Great central location for walking and biking in old Montreal. However, rooms at the back face a beautiful walking street that is quite noisey late into the night on Friday and Saturday night (bars close at 3AM). If you are on the lower floor like us, e.g. room 205, it is difficult to sleep with very loud music coming from nearby dance club. The front of the hotel faces the river.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Auberge du Vieux-Port. The location was perfect, right in the middle of Old Montreal, with all of its charm and history, essentially walking distance from restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff was exceptional, continually going out of their way to make we were taken care of/had everything we needed for our stay. Staring with the front desk, Terry greeted us upon arrival, and then walked us to his recommended restaurant for lunch. Bleeze, the reception supervisor, got us into the fully booked Gaspar restaurant, after a long day trip to Quebec City. And the Gaspar staff was amazing. Bottom line, highly recommended, and we would not stay anywhere else when future trips take us to Montreal.

We didn’t get the room we expected, you need to specify when you book. Reception found this room for us. Came into the room next day and stepped on a piece of glass. They came in with a lovely group of cleaners, we had to go down to reception to wait. Staff was great giving me first aid.

This hotel is in a great location for a first stay in Montreal. There is so much to do nearby. The 3 restaurants on property are excellent. The staff was lovely and very accommodating to requests. Our room was having AC trouble and the staff made it right. Highly recommend for a stay in the Old Village

Recent stayed at room 310. The room was beautiful with the river view, spacious, and clean. Love the old port location, very much accessible to the surrounding areas. Staffs are friendly and quick response to my needs. Would like to stay another night next time to be enjoy the restaurants perhaps. Would be nice to have an extra seat (not chair) in the room to accommodate two persons to have a more comfortable and intimate conversation. Thank you and will be back :)

I believe that the services provided do not reflect the value for the price paid. The reception staff lacked smiles and did not appear proactive. Kitchen and maintenance staff should not be using the same elevator as guests. The room was not clean, with stains on the floor. Perhaps it is a foreigner's bias, but compared to hotels of the same level in Europe, this one is overpriced and the service is inadequate.
