  • Guest：One of the top 5 places to stay in durban, KZN. 5 minutes walk to the beach too! What a sanctuary! Beside Still Waters boutique hotel has the most tranquil setting and the restaurant/ cafe - Neighbourhood, has the BEST FOOD and the friendliest staff and beautiful setting. Gatvol has delicious coffees, great stop before and after work. 11/10 for me ?? a must try spot if you’re in the area ????
  • Guest：My wife and I arrived at the hotel and were warmly welcomed by Spare (Manager). The atmosphere was inviting, and we received friendly assistance with our luggage to the room. The room is spacious, spotless, and well-kept. Very well priced. The restaurant staff were friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The cozy atmosphere, enhanced by soft lighting and the tranquil garden, made the experience both relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely visit again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.
  • Guest：We booked via Discovery Travel and felt like it was really good value for money. Room was spacious and the coffee shop and restaurant on site was great! Loved the atmosphere. More attention could be paid to smaller details in the rooms like a very noisy bathroom fan.
  • Guest：The hotel is on a very steep slope and with loads of steep steps Not suitable for anyone with a disability or the aged. The room was tiny with no windows at all for ventilation. To get some air you needed to keep the door open or put the air conditioner on. There was nowhere to sit in the room except the bed. There was a single chair and table near the door but difficult for 2 people to sit on one chair. The shower is in a bath which requires mountaineering skills to climb into. The floor of the bath is very slippery and dangerous unless you use one of the towels to stand on. Very dissapointed and due to physical safety concerns we checked out and moved to another hotel. The owner understood why we needed to move but would not consider a refund or even a partial one . On the positive side the bed was comfortable and clean
