Frühstück: Super. Panorama: Super. Pool: Nicht benutzt hat aber sehr gut ausgesehen. Unser Zimmer: Ger?usche die ganze Nacht (Nachbardusche und irgendeine Maschine), Telefon und TV-Fernbedienung waren defekt. Sauberkeit: H?tte besser sein k?nnen für einen 4 Sterne-Hotel. Service: Sehr freundlich

This hotel is set in a stunning location with sweeping views of breathtaking Limone and the Lake . Everything is on your doorstep here . Ferries , buses , e-bikes . That said the staff are the best thing about it - nothing is too much trouble - very professional and friendly

The stay at Hotel Splendid Palace was amazing, the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Food and drink were lovely and the two pools had beautiful views of the lake.

Nydelig takterasse med utsikt og gode drinker
Hotellet er litt til?rskommet, men veldig behagelig. Stor og god frokost, med egen kokk som lager omeletter, speilegg og bacon. Vi elsket terrassen med drinker og utsikt over sj?en og Limone p? kveldstid. Nydelige drinker og effektiv betjening. Flott ? ligge ved utebassenget p? dagtid, og de har en lekker, egen privat og adskilt bassengplass ogs? lenger nede ved havet, som vi oppdaget ved en tilfeldighet. Kort vei ? g? til Limone, som er en sv?rt hyggelig liten by, med litt strandpromenade, butikker og flere gode restauranter. Det eneste ? trekke for er litt d?rlige madrasser. V?re var gamle, nedligget og veldig harde, p? tide ? bytte ut. Vi var der i fem dager og koste oss veldig, med unntak av madrassene.

Hotel in a lovely position with excellent views. Staff couldn't be more helpful.
Breakfast was ok with plenty of choice.
Evening meal buffet style wasn't great but we only ate there the first night. There was loads of choices of restaurants very close.
Ask reception for for code to the separate pool down the footpath which also leads to the lake so you can take a dip if it's ridiculously hot like it was when we went. Enjoy.

We have just come back from the Splendid Palace and need to advise that the hotel billing process is massively flawed. Throughout the week, charges were added to our room with no receipts given, and on checkout we were presented with a bill with no reconciliation behind it as to what the items were. We paid the bill as we were in a rush to get to the airport and trusted the hotel that the charges were correct. After arriving home my husband called the hotel to verify the charges and realised that items from other rooms had been put on our account. We raised this immediately with the hotel and were told that there was nothing they can do about it. Due to the inefficiency of the hotel’s billing system, we’ve now ended up funding other people’s drinks and meals. It’s very frustrating and upsetting to us that the hotel management were unwilling to help us by refunding the money. Such a shame as the hotel is in a great location, but this has put a massive dampener on the whole experience which was a special trip to celebrate my 50th. As my husband and I are both travel agents we will not be recommending this hotel to our clients in future.

A lovely hotel in a prime position overlooking the lake and mountains. It's a very short downhill stroll into Limone - very close to the ferry pickup/drop off point and then a nice walk through the narrow old streets where there is a good array of shops and restaurants. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff were all so lovely, friendly and helpful - but I must give a special shout out to Michele, Simone and Lorenzo. They were amazing. Thanks for everything. The hotel has a very comprehensive buffet style breakfast. We never actually ate dinner at the hotel, but it smelled great. There is an outdoor and an indoor pool, a small gym and a sauna (€10 to book the sauna).

Stayed for 1 week, the only thing I can say about the room is that it is not as advertised, I'd say the room or bathroom have not been decorated since the 80s, very tired and disappointing, however the view from the balcony was beautiful. Please decorate your rooms,badly needed!!
