  • Guest：Amazing staff. Great stay! Location is great.
  • Guest：Basic Relatively boring neighbourhood, old furniture. But very nice staff.
  • Guest：Unfortunately, due to a medical situation, my parents had to extend their time abroad, which required staying in Skopje. I flew in to help, and with a local contact, we were booked into Hotel Vlaho. This was the most perfect option, as we ended up staying in one of the apartments, rather than the hotel, which gave us more room. The location was perfect for our requirements - ie close to the hospital, as well as shops, cafes, restaurants. A 5-mins taxi ride and you're already in the old city. More importantly, due to the stressful and emotional situation we were in, the staff couldn't have been more empathetic and helpful. Matteas was just fantastic throughout our 11-night stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was clean, and beds very comfortable - including the pull-out sofa, that I slept on. There was plenty of hot water and pressure for the shower. The hotel is located in a lovely and generally quiet area, and only a 10-mins walk to the Bohemian quarter The only issue would be the lack of facilities in the apartment with which to cook with - no utensils to chop or cut. Breakfast was basic, but it seems this is the norm in North Macedonia. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I come back, would stay again.
