This handsome merchants home-turned-boutique hotel is set within a UNESCO-listed 16th century fort. Inspired by the Forts Moorish history interiors feature Middle Eastern touches such as patterned floor tiles ethnic cushions and pendant lamps. A lively restaurant and bar; luxurious spa; and 18 spacious bedrooms overlooking a central courtyard offer a relaxing retreat from the bustling cobbled streets of Galle Fort.

  • Guest：A beautiful hotel conversation around a peaceful courtyard. Communal rooms retained many original features, were very comfortable and provided a relaxed colonial feel. Service and staff were great.
  • Guest：Super welcoming on arrival with a nice cold towel and a lovely juice. Ou room was amazing, super spacious, free mini bar, comfy bed and a button for champagne.The hotel is right in the middle of the town. 2 minute walk to the beach.
  • Guest：Adorable hotel, with great pool and Happy Hour!!! Loved the front desk staff! The restaurant was delicious as well! and my favorite was the Push for Champagne button
  • Guest：We loved our stay at Fort Bazaar. It's a beautiful hotel - the decor is modern and stylish throughout. The staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Highlights included great breakfasts, afternoon tea, happy hour cocktails and pedicures. The pool area provides a place to relax after exploring the fort area. We would highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.
