Es ist ein hübsches Hotel mit toller Sicht. Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht, das Frühstück war in Ordnung, es war alles dabei was man braucht. Das Abendessen war sensationell, es gab jeden Abend ein Vier-G?nge-Menü und es gab nicht einen Abend, wo es nicht geschmeckt hat. Wellness: War hell, freundlich und sehr sauber, aber in die Sauna passen maximal 4 Personen, das Dampfbad war super und der Whirlpool war auch in Ordnung , leider gab es Tage, wo das Wasser etwas zu kalt war. Lage: Die Auffahrt ist sehr steil mit dem Auto sowie auch zu Fuss. Für ?ltere Menschen ungeeignet, da nicht komplette Treppe vorhanden. Zimmer: War sehr sauber, aber auch sehr winzig und leider etwas lieblos eingerichtet. Keine Haken und keine Ablage im Bad. Im Zimmer nur zwei Haken, zu kleiner Schrank, der war auch ohne Ablage.. Wir wussten nicht wo wir unsere Sachen hin tun sollen, vor allem nach dem Wellness die Badem?ntel. Für Hunde ist das Hotel und Umgebung ungeeignet. Das Hotel hat eine wundersch?ne und gepflegte Au?enanlage, aber leider gro?teils mit Kunstrasen, von daher mussten wir mit unserem Hund jedes Mal den steilen Abhang rauf oder runter, um Gassi zu gehen. Im gro?en und ganzen war es trotzdem recht sch?n, aber wir würden nicht noch einmal hier Urlaub machen (wegen dem Zimmer, und Aufstieg)

Die Anlage an sich ist sehr sch?n. Wir haben in der Villa Oleandra gewohnt mit Blick auf den See. Die Zimmer etwas klein und die M?blierung erinnert an Ikea. Das Bad ist sehr modern. Das Essen war einem 4 Sterne Haus angemessen, Frühstück reichhaltig und das Abendessen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Die Beschreibungen der übrigen G?ste bzgl. des Abendessens kann ich teilen (Chef des Hauses immer anwesend, Personal freundlich, Auswahl i.O. Die Preise für den Wein fand ich etwas überteuert. Das Manko ist die lange, steile Auffahrt und die vielen Treppen, wenn man zum Essen m?chte. Etwas unversch?mt finde ich, dass eine Gebühr erhoben wird, wenn man mit Karte bezahlen m?chte. Darauf wird man schriftlich am Anreisetag hingewiesen. In unseren Mails findet sich dazu kein Hinweis, ebenso fehlt dieser auf der Homepage. Dadurch wird der Preis nochmal teurer, denn wer hat schon soviel Bargeld dabei? Hier fehlt mir die Transparenz. Aufgrund dieser Tatsache sind es dann auch nur ganz knapp 4 Sterne bei der Bewertung geworden.

Great hotel grounds with lots of sun beds in secluded spots and by pool.
The slope up to hotel is steep but manageable.

This is the best hotel I think I've ever stayed in. Views and gardens are stunning, Family Montagnoli and all the staff couldn't be more attentive and helpful. Breakfast had good choices and the dinner menus were original and tasty. A great ambience all round.

La Gardenia is truly a gem. From the moment you are welcomed on arrival until the moment you sadly leave you are treated with the most friendly and welcoming but so professional staff. It is a joy to stay there. The view from the dining area onto the lake and the mountains beyond is stunning.
The rooms are spotless ,comfortable the aircon works great.
Food wise chef provides fine dining every night.A fantastic choice every evening. No buffet help yourself here.
Breakfast is a good selection .
If you want a relaxing experience La Gardenia is an outstanding choice .
Easy walk into Limone although the walk back is uphill and the driveway upto the hotel is steep this won’t detract from the wonderful stay you’ll have.

Very friendly staff and excellent location
The view was stunning, breakfast was the best we have had in Italy, spa facilities are excellent and only a select number of people allowed in so always very quiet. Staff always happy to help.

We stayed at this hotel mid August for a week. Absolutely loved our stay. Our room was fairly basic but it was very clean and suited us fine. We had a small balcony with a lake view but also had use of a lovely veranda just in front of the balcony with our own deck chairs, parasol and table. The staff literally can't do enough for you. So friendly. The food was really lovely as well. Brilliant service. Not far from Limone centre and the centro ferry port. It is up a small very steep hill so if you're not sure on your feet maybe stay elsewhere. Small pool was beautiful and you could go any time of day and easily get a chair or bed to use. Overall we loved it and would definitely go back. Lake Garda was incredible. Best place I've ever been to.
