Anche per questo ultimo soggiorno ad Arabba abbiamo scelto di cenare al ristorante dell'hotel Evaldo. Alla fine delle belle giornate di sole che abbiamo potuto godere con lunghe escursioni, il servizio offerto è sempre una buona soluzione. Al costo di 35€ si cena con antipasti e verdure a buffet, un primo tra 4 scelte, un secondo tra 4 scelte serviti al tavolo, buffet di frutta e buffet di dolci. Le bevande sono escluse. Le proposte cambiano ogni sera e il giovedì è servita la cena ladina con primi e secondi serviti direttamente in sala dal personale di cucina. I punti di forza sono gli antipasti e i secondi.

Hotel Evaldo is just lovely and the perfect choice in Arabba. The hotel is run by the same family for generations and they are very attentive and helpful in every way possible. The hotel is very well kept, beautiful flowers and always clean. What totally stands out is the level of excellence in the kitchen. The food is amazing, by far the best we have had while skiing. The chef needs a big praise from us and so does the staff. Everybody in the restaurant, the driver is professional and so friendly. Another thing is that Evaldo offers excellent rooms for families. Three kids and two adults can be perfectly accommodated. This is rare!

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Family run, excellent food, breakfast plentiful and varied with eggs to order, evening meal 4 courses, amazing antipasti buffet, next two courses from an amazing varied choice of 4, all beautifully prepared, followed by dessert buffet. Shuttle to ski slopes each morning and afternoon pick up, taken to ski hire shop immediately on arrival. Wide wine list selection - and they will keep your bottle for several days. Great cocktails also available. Staff take genuine pride in their work making you feel most welcome and special. I would advise the ski area for people confident on reds (and blacks), for a beginner I would suggest staying elsewhere within Sella Ronda. Spa at the end of the day was also fabulous. Can't fault this hotel, will be back.

We were happy in this hotel. Food and warm place is reason for visit next time. Swiming pool is big, you can swim or visit sauna. Car for take us to slopes is prepare evere morning. We had big room, with balcony and view to the mountains, quiet place for sleeping and relaxing.

It's rare that I write a review however Hotel Evaldo warranted one! Just fabulous from start to finish and a perfect place to unwind and ski the Dolomites. My husband and I were after a cosy traditional ski hotel and Evaldo was just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful trip and memories

We loved our week at Hotel Evaldo - the hotel is well located with just a short walk to the village centre and the frequent shuttle service takes just a couple of minutes and was always available when we needed it. The hotel team are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed first class food all week - breakfast offers a good selection including freshly cooked eggs to order and dinner was varied and generous - the salad/antipasta buffet was especially impressive with superb antipasta options (varying each evening), followed by an excelent pasta course - always perfectly al dente and freshly prepared. (The food on offer for the special Carnival dinner during our week was particularly impressive, the staff in fancy dress and hats for the guests adding a fun touch!). In addition Evaldo's wine list is extensive and good value and we also loved the expertly made cocktails in the hotel bar from Enzo. Finally, bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable with modern bathrooms including superb showers. Our only (very minor!) negative comment relates to the incessant 70s/80s pop music in the dining room - a little variety (or occasional no music at all!) would have been welcome. A very minor quibble to an otherwise superb week in a lovely hotel. Thank-you Hotel Evaldo!

If you want to see what a well run family hotel feels like come here. Excellent staff who all seem to enjoy their job and go that extra mile. Reception staff speak perfect English and even a mini bus to take you the short distance to the lifts. Best resort in the Sella Ronda for skiing and also probably a great place to base yourself for summer walking trips.

Can't think of any reason to not describe this hotel as excellent. Great friendly team very well run. We have been a few times Just back and have book again for 2025 Arabba is a longish transfer from whichever airport you use but that's just necessary to ski in the Dolomites which are stunning.

What a great hotel for a skiing holiday! The food is superb, starting with an excellent breakfast buffet, with eggs cooked to order, and everything needed to set you up for a day on the slopes. Then there's an afternoon snack in the relaxing bar area. The evening meal is a four or five course affair, with a comprehensive starter buffet followed by a soup or pasta course, with four choices. The main course again has four choices and this is followed by a dessert buffet. You can see examples on my photos but these don't really do the food justice. Service by the hotel staff is friendly and professional, from the seamless check in to the minibus service to the lifts and back. Cleaning is excellent throughout the hotel. The wellness area is a welcome haven after skiing, with a small pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steam area. A variety of massages are available at extra cost. The bar is a relaxing space, with a good variety of drinks at prices which will shock you with their value for money, especially if you have recently encountered the inflated prices at French resorts. The hotel has an extensive wine list, with good quality wines at reasonable prices. A nice feature of the hotel is the number of paintings and quaint artefacts dotted around the public areas. For skiers, there is a good boot room, with heated lockers opened with your room key card. I'll leave you to figure out how to do this. The rods inside the lockers are heated overnight, so boots are dry and warm in the morning. If I came back to Arabba, the Evaldo would certainly be my first choice.

we booked a 3 night stay in arabba and chose that h?tel due to the wellness area and location closed to the ski area and shuttle bus we had a very pleasant stay amazing people who do their best to make your stay unforgettable...the newspaper each evening on your table ...impossible to list all ... I prefer to share pictures ..
