  • Guest：First of all, I picked this hotel because we were in Hamburg and wanted to stay in a 4-5 start hotel not so far away. The hotel was easy to get with. I will go through what I felt was good and not so good at the hotel : Hits - The room itself was excellent and very comfortable. A good mini bar and excellent shower. - A lovely swim/sauna area. (The fitness area was too small to rate) - A big thank you to a number of staff. Sorry, I did not get names. The Ukrainian lady and her partner at dinner. Friendly, professional & helpful. The lady at the cocktail bar who was friendly, efficient & patient with going through the cocktail list for my wife. Lastly the night porter who went out of his way to supply an additional mini-bar beer to my room! - The dinner was very much hit and miss. We stayed half-board and the menu was very limited. 2 courses for starter and 3 for main course. The Chicken Cesear Salad was a good delicious portion while the wiener schnitzel was just delicious. Excellent combination! - The food at the breakfast. Good variety. Misses - Staff at reception and at breakfast. While not rude, they were very reserved bordering on being cold. They were definitely not friendly. Why work in a 4 star hotel? - €7 for a bottle of water which is free at breakfast and in the room. That is outrageous. I did not leave a tip because of this. - At the dinner, there was a vegtable essence soup. It was a type of broth but in reality was nothing but flavoured water which tasted terrible. Also the fish, which was tiny with a few potatoes and carrots. You certainly needed to ensure that you ate before dinner which thankfully we did! - This is definitely not a 5 star hotel but bringing bags to the room for guests would be a suggestion that I would have for hotel management to make their hotel stand out. Overall, this was a nice stay but I was slightly disappointed that it did not have that wow factor.
  • Guest：We really enjoyed the cosy lounge with bar - the span area is very well kept and super clean. We stayed during winter, but the out door pool looked so amazing. Beautiful with views to the pine forest. we will definitely come back
