I just loved the ambience ,the rooms were spacious,the staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay.

This was an excellent hotel -very clean and comfortable in the executive rooms. The standard rooms and deluxe are quite small- worth a few more dollars to get the executive. Good value for money. Staff really friendly and helpful. Close to the hospital where we were visiting

High value for cost and comfortable stay
I am a picky American traveler who has stayed in multiple hotels in Kisumu. The Pinecone has excellent value for its cost. The staff are very accommodating and tried hard to address any issue that arose. Specifically, the restaurant took a long time to prepare food but that it is because each meal is 'made to order'. It took nearly an hour to receive my soup order, but I when it finally came, I could tell it was made fresh and was absolutely delicious. The next evening, I placed my dinner order about an hour before I wanted to eat, which worked perfectly. The room was very clean and although the shower was not quite as hot as I would like (due to relying on solar power and it was cloudy), the staff tried to improve the temperature after I raised the issue. Again, the staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, the room was clean and safe, and there was a hair dryer in the room. Overall, this is high value for the cost and I would recommend staying here to colleagues.

Muss man nicht unbedingt hin!
Das Hotel war gut aber sehr laut.
Vor allem die laute Musik im Poolbereich dr?hnte durch das ganze Haus und war sehr nervig!
Au?erdem gab es in unserem Zimmer kein hei?es Wasser!

The Pinecone Hotel's hospitality, professionalism is 5 star service! I won't look anywhere else for a place to stay when I return to Kisumu. Friendly attentive staff, delicious dinners, spotless air conditioned room stocked with the essentials, overlooking the beautiful pool. If you need a business center which our group of 16 did it is there. They made our intimate dinner for 16 to 19 people seem effortless. Bravo Pinecone Hotel. Oh did I mention we made last minute reservations from an alternate hotel and they welcomed us like they were expecting us for months. Check for 16 was so smooth and efficient!

Hotel room and bedding was clean. Restaurant where food is served was clean, had running water for washing hands since were are faced with Corona virus outbreak. Breakfast served was good both in terms of variety and appeal.
