Prompt and friendly service, clean and aesthetically pleasing rooms and overall resort, strong AC, good water pressure, free of bugs, complimentary snacks and beverages upon check-in, a nice patio with a tropical view, lots of trees and other greenery around the resort providing much needed shade in the hot and humid summer, 2 onsight restaurants (American and Filipino cuisine), breakfast included at the Filipino restaurant. Once the staff at the Filipino restaurant realized we were vegetarian, they cooked us our own separate meal separate from the meat heavy buffet which was served hot and presented beautifully. This extra effort was greatly appreciated. We also liked that a large variety of ice cream was easy to access and purchase on site. It definitely helped us cool down in the summer heat and humidity. Compared to other resorts in the area, Aureo was by far our favourite.
