  • Guest：We stayed in the Superior apartment in July, located on the 1st floor of the building (stairs up, no elevator). Our host Nicola was friendly when meeting us, even when our delayed flight made us run late for the key exchange. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay. The room was very spacious for two and the atmosphere was rustic and romantic in the very right way. The bathroom didn’t quite carry on with the theme, but otherwise the apartment was very nice. The views from the balcony were not that impressive, but the balcony made a nice touch to the apartment. The air conditioning worked well. We liked the location very much, since it was a walking distance away from Verona city center and all the main sight seeings. Also walking to the main train station was easy. Couple of supermarkets and good pizzerias were pretty close. Few things to notice/improve: It would have been nice to have some sort of a small table on the balcony for sitting down and having ie. a drink. The apartment didn’t have a iron. Also, I think the apartment would be even more cosier if it would have more smaller corner lights/lamps that would give some soft, warmer light in the evenings. Now the very bright, big lamps don’t quite compliment the overall atmosphere. The street was quiet at night, but the apartment had a poor sound proof: you could easily hear other residents talking and stomping in their apartment in the upper floor, luckily we had neighbours that stayed quiet during the night.
  • Guest：Ho alloggiato in un bel monolocale al primo piano ben ristrutturato con la restaurazione di pregevoli affreschi; la casa torre si trova nel quartiere di Veronetta, molto grazioso e comodo per muoversi in città prevalentemente a piedi ma non molto vicino a negozi dove fare una spesa sfiziosa, c'è un supermercato abbastanza vicino ma è appena sufficiente per la sopravvivenza e tanti locali invitanti della zona erano chiusi per ferie o per sempre. Gli spazi sono ben organizzati e l'angolo cottura è completo di tutto, perfino della lavastoviglie per la quale è meglio portare con sé una scorta di detersivo perché quello presente non è sufficiente. Purtroppo le luci soffuse e il clima uggioso non consentono poi tanto di apprezzare la bellezza degli affreschi ma si riesce a notare comunque un po' di polvere, in particolare sulla mensola dello specchio del bagno, dalla quale andrebbero eliminati i contenitori di cotone idrofilo e cotton fioc. La biancheria a disposizione è di ottima qualità, quella da bagno è confezionata in una busta sigillata perché igienizzata, peccato che il telo da bagno fosse troppo piccolo per riuscire ad asciugarsi (porto la taglia 38, immagino che una persona di taglia 46 riuscirebbe ad asciugarsi al massimo un braccio), perciò consiglio di portare l'accappatoio e anche le pantofole che, nonostante fossero previste, non sono pervenute, mentre è presente un asciugacapelli serio, quasi professionale. Altro appunto da fare è quello relativo ai piatti, alcuni sbeccati e con decori ormai sbiaditi, un tempo dorati perciò non utilizzabili nel forno a microonde. La macchina per il caffè con capsule (fornite in abbondanza) prepara un buon caffè ma, come anche per gli altri elettrodomestici, non ci sono istruzioni ed è necessario interrogare in merito il proprietario, di troppo poche parole.
